Voice commands in Tesla vehicles offer a convenient and hands-free way to interact with various features of your car. From managing climate settings to navigating to your next destination, voice commands simplify driving and enhance safety by reducing distractions. This guide provides an overview of the key categories of voice commands available in Tesla vehicles and their functionality.

To initiate a voice command for your Model S, Model X and Cybertruck, tap the voice button on the right side of the steering wheel. On your Model 3 and Model Y, press the right scroll button on your steering wheel. When you hear the tone, speak your command.

Climate Controls

Effortlessly manage your cabin’s temperature, adjust fan settings, or activate seat heaters using voice commands.

Turn on/off climate control - Enables or disables the vehicle's climate control system.
Open/Close climate control - Opens or closes the climate control interface on the touchscreen.
My feet are cold - Increases heat to the footwell area.
I need fresh air - Activates fresh air intake by disabling recirculation mode.
Turn on/off biodefence mode - Activates or deactivates Bioweapon Defense Mode to filter air pollutants.

Windshield Wipers

Speed up the wipers - Increases the speed of the windshield wipers.
Increase/decrease windshield wiper speed by... - Adjusts the windshield wiper speed incrementally.
Turn on/off the wipers - Activates or deactivates the windshield wipers.
Set wipers to auto - Configures the wipers to automatic mode based on rain detection.
Set wiper speed to 1/2/3/4/5/auto - Adjusts the wiper speed or sets it to automatic mode.
Set wiper speed to max - Sets the wipers to their maximum speed.
